The scheme "Teelu Rauteli Award" was launched by the Department of Women Empowerment and Child Development, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to recognize and honor women and adolescent girls who have made outstanding achievements in various fields such as social work, education, literature, art, culture, courage, and bravery.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, one woman or adolescent girl from each district, who has made outstanding achievements in a particular field, is awarded a cash prize of ₹51,000/- along with a certificate of appreciation by the State Government.
