The scheme aims to encourage the birth of girl children in poor families and promote their holistic development. Under this scheme, financial support ₹1,50,000/- is provided in seven installments to the parents or guardians of girls born in Government/authorized Medical Institutions.

Description
The Scheme "Laado Protsahan Yojana" was launched on 1st August 2024 by the Department of Women Empowerment, Government of Rajasthan. The scheme aims to encourage the birth of girl children in poor families and promote their holistic development. Under this scheme, financial support is provided in seven installments to the parents or guardians of girls born in Government/authorized Medical Institutions. Objectives: - Promote a positive mindset towards the birth of a girl child and ensure her holistic development. - Eliminate gender discrimination in childcare, education, and health. - Promote institutional deliveries and reduce maternal mortality. - Reduce infant mortality among girls and improve the child sex ratio. - Ensure enrollment and retention of girls in schools. - Encourage higher education for girls and reduce child marriage.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a woman who is a native of Rajasthan.
2. The applicant should deliver the girl child in a government medical institution or a private medical institution authorized under the Janani Suraksha Yojana (JSY).
3. The applicant should ensure full immunization of the child (for second installment).
4. The applicant's child should be enrolled in a recognized school or institution for subsequent installments.
5. The applicant’s daughter should graduate from a recognized higher education institution and attain the age of 21 to receive the final installment.

Step 2: Step 2: The applicant should visit the nearest office of the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare.
Offline
For First and Second Installments:
Data is entered on PCTS portal during antenatal checkups and post-institutional delivery.
DBT is done automatically by the Department of Medical, Health & Family Welfare.
For Second Installment:
Full immunization record must be uploaded on the PCTS/OJAS portal.
Based on verification, payment is made to parent/guardian’s account.
For Installments 3 to 6 (School Admissions):
Automatically tracked by schools through the portal using earlier installment IDs.
No fresh application is required from parents/guardians.
For Final (Seventh) Installment:
The Department of Higher Education uploads the girl’s graduation documents.
Payment is made to the girl’s own bank account after verifying she is 21 years old.
