Overview
The scheme "Mukhyamantri Swasthya Sahayata Yojana" by the Scheduled Tribes, Scheduled Castes, Minorities, & Backward Classes Welfare Department, Govt. of Jharkhand, aims to provide medical financial aid to beneficiaries. The "Mukhyamantri Swasthya Sahayata Yojana" was launched by the Department of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority and Backward Class Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, and aims to provide financial assistance for medical treatment to eligible beneficiaries. Through this scheme, monetary support is provided to alleviate financial burdens caused by illnesses, surgeries, or other medical needs.
Exclusions
• Benefits are not available for pregnancy and maternity-related expenses.
Benefits
• The grant under the scheme will be given in the following manner:
• If the beneficiary is an adult, then in this case the grant under the scheme
• If the beneficiary is a minor, then in this situation, the grant under the scheme
• NOTE: Funds are directly transferred to beneficiaries' bank accounts via PFMS (Public Financial Management System).
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be a resident of Jharkhand.
2. The applicant must belong to the Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, or Backward Class categories.
3. The applicant must be suffering from the illness or surgery.
4. Applicants already availing financial assistance from other government schemes are ineligible.
