• In the state, after the institutional delivery of a pregnant woman, the following benefits will be provided:
• The woman will receive one Mahalakshmi kit for the birth of each of her first two girl children.
• In the case of twins, the woman will be given one Mahalakshmi kit, and each child will receive a separate Mahalakshmi kit.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The beneficiary must be a pregnant woman registered with an Anganwadi Centre and eligible to receive a Mahalakshmi Kit after delivery.
3. The beneficiary must not be an income tax payer.

For Mothers: Dry fruits, socks, scarf, towel, shawl, blanket, bedsheet, sanitary pads, mustard oil, soap, and nail cutter.
For Newborn Girl Child: Cotton/warm cap, socks, diaper, towel, baby soap, rubber sheet, warm blanket, and vaccination card.
