Description
Ayushman Bharat PM-JAY Mukhmantri Sehat Bima Yojana AB PM-JAY MMSBY , was launched on 20 August 2019 this is a flagship State Health Insurance Scheme for the beneficiaires of State of Punjab. AB PM-JAY MMSBY will provide financial protection to 65% population of state of Punjab. It is entitlement based cashless Health Insurance cover. Under this scheme cashless and paperless treatment is available at Government and empaneled Private hospitals.

Benefits
• A cashless health insurance cover of ₹5,00,000/- rupees per family per year for secondary and tertiary care hospitalization (in-patient services) for treatment of listed diseases and medical conditions.

Eligibility Criteria
1. Residents of Punjab.
2. Applicants should be from the following categories
3. - SECC 2011 data families,
4. - Smart Ration Card holder families,
5. - J-Form holder farmers,
6. - Small traders registered with Excise & Taxation Department,
7. - Small & Marginal Farmers,
8. - Accredited & Yellow Card Journalist and Construction workers registered with Punjab Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

Q: Can those families whose names are not on the list avail the benefits under AB PM-JAY MMSBY?
A: In this phase, no additional new families can be added under AB PM-JAY MMSBY. However, names of additional family members can be added only in case of families of J-Form holder farmers, families of registered Small traders and families of registered construction workers based on the family identification document produced by the Beneficiary at the point of contact. The family is defined as under:
