**Under the Self-Employment Programme**, the beneficiary in urban areas enhances their livelihood while strengthening their own and their family’s economic condition. - **Under the Self-Employment Programme**, the beneficiary is provided a loan of up to ₹2.00 lakh through the bank. - There is a provision for interest subsidy under the **Self-Employment Programme**, where 7% of the interest is borne by the beneficiary and the remaining is shared by the Government of India and the State Government. - **Under the Self-Employment Programme**, the beneficiary can generate new employment and also expand existing employment opportunities.
