Overview
A volunteership scheme by Ministry of Youth Affairs And Sports to tap the potential of the disciplined and dedicated youth In the age group of 18 to 29 years who have the inclination and spirit to engage in nation building exercises, to serve up to two years in Nation Building activities.

A volunteership scheme by Ministry of Youth Affairs And Sports to tap the potential of the disciplined and dedicated youth In the age group of 18 to 29 years who have the inclination and spirit to engage in nation building exercises, to serve up to two years in Nation Building activities for which they would receive a monthly honorarium of Rs- 5000/- . Each NYV is required to be IT Savvy. Further NYVs should have the capability of preparing report/documentation of youth program and upload online. NYC should also know about preparing reports for media/news statement. Each NYV should know the using of required mobile Apps for example Digidhan, Digital India etc . The NYC Scheme is being implemented by Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan NYKS .

Benefits
• An honorarium of ₹ 5000 per month is provided for serving up to two years (including the period of training which will be for 4 weeks) in the identified development activities on a full-time basis.

1. The applicant must be between 18 - 29 years of age.
2. The applicant must have passed Class 10th.

After successful submission of online application form, an Application number is generated automatically and displayed on the screen which should be noted for future reference.

Information regarding interview for selection will be informed by email and SMS/whatsapp message.
The applicant are required to bring the filled in application form along with all relevant documents in original as well as photocopy and two recent passport size photographs at the time of interview, if shortlisted.

A: Students who have enrolled themselves as a regular students are not eligible for deployment under the scheme, keeping in view of the nature of their full time assignment.
Q: Is there a percentage of slots reserved for girl students?
A: Yes, 50:50 gender ratios should be maintained to the extent possible under this scheme.
Q: Is there a reservation for SC / ST?
A: There is no reservation as such but participation of weaker sections such as SC/ST community will be encouraged.
Q: Is there any application fee?
A: No. The entire application process is completely free of cost.
