The "Birsa Awas Nirman Yojana" was launched by the Department of Scheduled Tribe, Scheduled Caste, Minority & Backward Class Welfare, Government of Jharkhand, and aims to provide durable housing for the economically weaker Scheduled Tribes ST with a focus on timely construction, monitoring, and quality management. Under this scheme, financial assistance is disbursed in three installments to beneficiaries, with an additional ₹500/- incentive per unit provided to Panchayat Volunteers or Self-Help Groups SHGs for overseeing construction milestones.
