Scheme Overview
The objective of this scheme is to provide financial support to residents of Rajasthan who successfully complete the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra organized by the Ministry of External Affairs, Govt. of India. Under this scheme, each pilgrim is granted financial assistance of up to ₹1,00,000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
The applicant should have successfully completed the Kailash Mansarovar Yatra through the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The applicant receives this grant only once in a lifetime.
**Note 1:** 100 pilgrims are selected each year. If there are more applicants than available slots, selection is done through a lottery system.
**Note 2:** After completing the trip, a certificate from the Ministry of External Affairs confirming the successful completion of the journey is required.
Benefits
₹1,00,000 per selected pilgrim after completing the Yatra.
Direct transfer to the beneficiary’s bank account via account payee cheque/demand draft, depending on departmental discretion.
The Yatra must be completed through the Ministry of External Affairs, Government of India.
The benefit is available only once in a lifetime.
A maximum of 100 beneficiaries per year.
Selection via lottery if applications exceed the quota.
