Scheme Overview
The scheme aims to promote intensive apple cultivation among farmers by establishing modern orchards with high-yielding varieties and providing financial assistance through a 60% subsidy on saplings, thereby enhancing productivity and increasing farmers’ income.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
For setting up very dense/seedling apple plantations, the minimum area of 2 Nali (0.04 ha) and the maximum area of 100 Nali (2 ha) will be eligible per beneficiary or group.

Benefits
Under this scheme, farmers will be provided with a 60% subsidy for establishing orchards of the latest apple varieties. The subsidy is structured as follows: 900 saplings per acre (₹12.36 lakh) for M-9, 540 saplings per acre (₹7.86 lakh) for MM-111, and 440 saplings per acre (₹3.34 lakh) for seedlings.
The subsidy will be calculated on a pro-rata basis according to the number of very dense apple orchards and saplings actually established by the applicant.
