Scheme Overview
The scheme “Sikkim Unmarried Women Pension Scheme (SUWPS)” was launched in 2013 by the Department of Women & Child Welfare, Govt. of Sikkim. Under this scheme, the unmarried women of Below Poverty Line (BPL) families in Sikkim would receive a pension of ₹ 2000/- per month.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a permanent resident of the state of Sikkim.
The applicant should be a woman.
The applicant should be unmarried.
The applicant should be from Below Poverty Line (BPL) family.
The applicant should be in the 45-59 years age group.
The applicant should not have any source of income.
Benefits
