Description
The scheme "Information, Monitoring, Evaluation and Social Audit I-MESA " was launched by the Department of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. of India. The component “Project Monitoring Unit PMU ” aims to intensely examine the implementation of schemes at the ground level and monitor scheme outputs and outcomes to ensure the quality of services being provided under these schemes. The scheme component provides for physical inspection of every scheme of the Ministry, such as Grant-in-Aid institutions, scholarship holders, free coaching schemes, implementation of projects under Special Central Assistance to Scheduled Caste Sub Plan, hostel schemes, and Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana villages.
