Scheme Overview
Under this scheme, a scholarship of ₹15,000 per year is provided to the children of ex-servicemen, from the rank of Sepoy to Havildar, who are pursuing vocational & technical education & have not received scholarship assistance under the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme or from any other source.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
The applicant should be an ex-serviceman of the rank of Havildar or below, or his widow/dependent.
The applicant should be pursuing a vocational or technical education course included in the [Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme](https://www.ksb.gov.in/writereaddata/DownLoad/List_of_Authorised_professional_degree_courses_under_PMSS.pdf) (PMSS). 1. The applicant should not be receiving benefits under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme or any other scholarship scheme.
This scholarship is not admissible in cases of Battle Casualty/Disability and Physical Casualty (attributable cases), as in such cases, scholarships are already provided by the Army Headquarters.
The applicant must have passed the previous academic year successfully; failure to pass results in the discontinuation of the scholarship.
The scholarship will not be payable to more than two children of an ex-serviceman.
**Notes:**
- Once selected, the scholarship will continue for the remaining duration of the course, subject to annual renewal.
- In case of failure in any year, the scholarship will be cancelled for the entire course.

Note 1: Only 50 students are selected each year based on merit.
