Under this scheme, a scholarship of ₹15,000 per year is provided to the children of ex-servicemen, from the rank of Sepoy to Havildar, who are pursuing vocational & technical education & have not received scholarship assistance under the Prime Minister's Scholarship Scheme or from any other source.

Description
The scheme "Scholarship for Children of Ex-Servicemen for Vocational and Technical Education" was introduced by the Department of Sainik Welfare, Government of Rajasthan. Under this scheme, a scholarship of ₹15,000/- per year is provided to the children of ex-servicemen, from the rank of Sepoy to Havildar, who are pursuing vocational and technical education and have not received scholarship assistance under the Prime Minister& 39;s Scholarship Scheme or from any other source. A maximum of 50 children can be granted this scholarship each year, based on merit, from the Amalgamated Fund. The scheme came into effect from 1st July 2020.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a native of Rajasthan.
2. The applicant should be an ex-serviceman of the rank of Havildar or below, or his widow/dependent.
3. The applicant should be pursuing a vocational or technical education course included in the [Prime Minister Scholarship Scheme](https://www.ksb.gov.in/writereaddata/DownLoad/List_of_Authorised_professional_degree_courses_under_PMSS.pdf) (PMSS). 1. The applicant should not be receiving benefits under the Prime Minister’s Scholarship Scheme or any other scholarship scheme.
4. This scholarship is not admissible in cases of Battle Casualty/Disability and Physical Casualty (attributable cases), as in such cases, scholarships are already provided by the Army Headquarters.
5. The applicant must have passed the previous academic year successfully; failure to pass results in the discontinuation of the scholarship.
6. The scholarship will not be payable to more than two children of an ex-serviceman.
