Scheme Overview
The scheme aims to provide financial incentives to meritorious girl students belonging to minority communities based on their performance in the High School Examination or its equivalent (Munshi/Maulvi) and Intermediate Examination or its equivalent (Alim).
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must belong to a minority community in Uttarakhand.
The applicant must be a girl student.
The girl student must have secured 60% or more marks as an institutional candidate in the High School Examination of the Uttarakhand Secondary Education Board / Madrasa Board or its equivalent (Munshi/Maulvi), or in the Intermediate Examination or its equivalent (Alim).
The applicant’s mother/father/guardian should belong to the Below Poverty Line (BPL) category, or their annual family income from all sources should not exceed:
- ₹81,000 in rural areas
- ₹1,03,000 in urban areas
The girl student must be unmarried.
The age of the girl student should not be more than 20 years.
A maximum of two daughters from the same family can avail of this benefit.

Benefits
The following incentives are given to meritorious girl students of minority community:
High School / Munshi / Maulvi:
₹10,000/- for securing 60% or above marks
₹15,000/- for securing 70% or above marks
₹20,000/- for securing 80% or above marks
Intermediate / Alim:
₹15,000/- for securing 60% or above marks
₹20,000/- for securing 70% or above marks
₹25,000/- for securing 80% or above marks
