The scheme “Matru Jyothi - Financial Assistance for PwD Mothers” was launched by the Department of Social Justice, Government of Kerala.

The applicant should be a native and resident of Kerala State.
The applicant should be a differently abled mother.
The differently abled mother who has a child less than two years old is eligible to apply under the scheme.
The applicant’s annual family income should not exceed ₹1,00,000/-.
Benefits
Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹2,000/- will be provided to differently-abled mothers until the child turns two years.
