The component provides financial assistance of up to ₹10,000/-.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be a family member of the deceased artist.
- The deceased artist must have been born and brought up in Goa.
- The deceased artist must have been recognized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Goa.
- The family income of the deceased artist (from all sources) must not exceed ₹2,00,000/- per annum.
- The applicant must not have claimed or received funeral assistance benefits from any other government source for the same purpose.

Benefits
Financial assistance of up to a maximum of ₹10,000/- shall be sanctioned to meet expenses in connection with the funeral of the Goan artist.
The benefit is provided as a one-time lump sum grant.
The financial assistance amount shall be disbursed to the eligible member of artist's family in the form of Electronic Clearing System mode.
