Scheme Overview
This is a State scheme under which disabled persons of Haryana domicile with a minimum 60% disability and are 18 years of age and above, are given pension as per eligibility criteria laid down in the rules of the scheme.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a domicile of Haryana and should have been residing in the state for at least 3 years at the time of submitting the application.
The applicant should be 18 years of age or older.
The applicant’s self-income from all sources should not exceed the minimum wage for unskilled labour as notified by the Labour Department.
The applicant should have a disability ranging from 60% to 100%.
The applicant should have one of the following disabilities:
• Blindness
• Low vision
• Leprosy cured
• Hearing impairment
• Locomotor disability
• Intellectual disability (Mental Retardation)
• Mental illness
Benefits
Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹3,000/- per month is provided as a pension to disabled persons with a minimum of 60% disability.
