Scheme Overview
Under this scheme, financial assistance will be provided to registered construction workers with full or 50% disability due to an accident. The financial assistance will also be provided to the widowed dependents of registered male construction workers for any reason of death.
Eligibility Criteria
The beneficiary should be working in the Establishment, registered under the Punjab Labour Welfare Fund Act, 1965 and his contribution towards the labour welfare fund should regularly been received by the Board.
In case of the death of a registered male construction worker, his dependent widow should apply for this scheme within one year from the date of death.
Registered construction workers with full or 50% disability due to an accident are eligible to apply under the scheme.
The beneficiary has not availed any financial assistance from any other Government body.
