Scheme Overview
Under this scheme, financial assistance is provided to the children of the workers working in the industrial and commercial establishments of the state of Haryana for participating in sports competitions so that the children of the workers can also become good sportspersons.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be employed in an industrial or commercial establishment in Haryana.
The applicant should be registered with the Haryana Labour Welfare Board.
The applicant's monthly salary should not exceed ₹25,000/-.
Benefits are provided to children of registered workers for participating in group or individual sports competitions, and for securing 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in these competitions.
There is no limit on the number of workers' children eligible under this scheme.
There is no minimum service period requirement for the worker.
**Note:** Application must be submitted within one year of the date of issuance of the certificate of participation in sports activities.
