Scheme Overview
In the event of the death of a pensioner who was receiving a pension from the Board, a family pension shall be given to the surviving spouse by the Meghalaya Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board (MBOCWWB).
Eligibility Criteria
The beneficiary should be a resident of Meghalaya.
The deceased individual/worker should have been receiving a pension from the Meghalaya Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
In the event of the death of the pensioner, the surviving spouse shall be eligible for the family pension.
The spouse of the pensioner should not be receiving any pension from the Government/Semi-Government/Private Organization.
The spouse of the pensioner should not be receiving any salary from the Government/Semi-Government/Private Organization.
Benefits
In the event of the death of the pensioner, a family pension shall be given to the surviving spouse.
The amount of pension will be 50% of the pension received by the pensioner or ₹100/- whichever is higher.
