Scheme Overview
Under this scheme, after the death of the worker due to Silicosis, financial assistance of ₹3,500/- per month is provided to the spouse of the worker until he/she remains alive. In the case of an unmarried worker, the financial assistance is provided to his/her living parents.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be either the spouse or one of the living parents of the deceased worker.
The deceased worker should have been suffering from silicosis as confirmed by the Silicosis Diagnosis Board, Haryana.
The death of the worker should have been due to silicosis.
The deceased worker should have been employed in a factory or at a construction site.
Benefits
Under this scheme, financial assistance of ₹3,500/- per month will be given after the death of the worker due to Silicosis.
**Note 1:** If the deceased worker was married, assistance will be given to the widow or widower until he/she remains alive.
**Note 2:** If the deceased worker was unmarried, financial assistance will be given to his/her living parents.
