Scheme Overview
The scheme provides financial assistance of ₹1,500/- per month for a duration of 10 months to meritorious students from the Garhwal and Kumaon divisions who secure top ranks in the examination conducted by SCERT Uttarakhand.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must belong to either the Garhwal or Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand.
The applicant must be an institutional student of Class 8 in any government, local body, or government-aided school (excluding central and residential schools) in Uttarakhand.
The applicant must have passed the annual Class 7 examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
There is no restriction on the annual income of parents or guardians.
The scholarship will be awarded for a period of 4 years, from Class 9 to Class 12.

Benefits
Out of the top 100 students in the qualifying examination conducted by SCERT Uttarakhand, 50 students from the Garhwal Division and 50 students from the Kumaon Division will receive ₹1,500/- per month for a period of 10 months.
