The "Dr. Shivanand Nautiyal Scholarship" scheme is implemented by the Secondary Education Department under the Department of Education, Government of Uttarakhand. • Out of the top 100 students in the qualifying examination conducted by SCERT Uttarakhand, 50 students from the Garhwal Division and 50 students from the Kumaon Division will receive ₹1,500/- per month for a period of 10 months.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must belong to either the Garhwal or Kumaon Division of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant must be an institutional student of Class 8 in any government, local body, or government-aided school (excluding central and residential schools) in Uttarakhand.
3. The applicant must have passed the annual Class 7 examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% for reserved categories).
4. There is no restriction on the annual income of parents or guardians.
5. The scholarship will be awarded for a period of 4 years, from Class 9 to Class 12.
