The “Dastkar Prashikshan” scheme was launched by the Department of Skill Development and Employment, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide benefits to the youth of the state by connecting them with private-sector employment or self-employment opportunities through skills training offered at district ITIs.

Benefits
• To benefit the youth by connecting them with employment or self-employment opportunities in the private sector through skill training provided by district ITIs.
• The duration of this training is either 1 year or 2 years.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant must have passed Class 8 or Class 10.
3. The fee is currently fixed at ₹4,000/- per annum.
