> **For Individual Farmers:**

- The applicant must belong to the Gujarat state.
- The water tank must be constructed on the applicant’s own farmland.
- The farmer must have adopted the [Micro Irrigation System (MIS)](https://pib.gov.in/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=2003188).- The farmer must cover at least one hectare of land per 75 cubic meters of water tank under MIS.
> **For Group of Farmers:**
- The group must consist of two or more farmers.
- The group must belong to the Gujarat state.
- The group must select one farmer as the leader, who will submit the application on behalf of the group.
- The water tank must be constructed on the land of one of the farmers in the group.
- Each member of the group must have adopted the [Micro Irrigation System (MIS)](https://pib.gov.in/PressReleaseIframePage.aspx?PRID=2003188).- The group must cover at least one hectare of land per 75 cubic meters of water tank under MIS.
> **Note:**
- No separate registration is required for the group; they only need to submit a mutual consent certificate.
- The benefit is available only once in a lifetime (For both Individual and Group of Farmers).
