The Shauchalaya Sahayata Yojana is a scheme by the government of Uttar Pradesh, India, to provide financial assistance to registered construction workers to build toilets in their homes. The scheme was launched in 2017 as part of the Swachh Bharat Mission, a national campaign to eradicate open defecation in India. Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicant must be registered with Uttar Pradesh Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
2. Applicant must have their own homes, but not have toilets in it.
3. Applicant must not have received similar benefits from any other government scheme.
4. Applicant must be regularly depositing contributions.
5. Applicant must have an Aadhaar card.
6. Applicant must have a bank account in a CBS branch of a nationalized bank.
