Description
The Tripura Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, Labour Department Tripura launched the "Scheme for Funeral Assistance in Case of Death of Registered Construction Worker". Under rule 282 Other Welfare Measures of the Tripura State Building and Other Construction Workers RE & CS Rules 2001, the scheme for funeral Assistance in case of the death of registered construction workers is made.

• A one-time grant of ₹10,000/- is provided for the expenses of the funeral ceremony.
• NOTE: The amount of benefit payable by the BOARD shall be paid through DBT mode.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a nominee, spouse, or dependent of the deceased registered worker.
2. The registered construction workers should not have any dues payable to the Board.
