Savitribai Phule Scholarship is a Scholarship Scheme by the Social Justice and Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra. The objective of the scheme is to encourage enrollment and to decrease the dropout ratio of Girls in the education of Maharashtra from Vimukta Jati and Nomadic Tribes VJNT and Special Backward Classes SBC , studying in 8th to 10th standard, the Government has introduced this scheme from the academic year 2003-04.
Benefits
• The beneficiary is to provide ₹100/- per month for 10 months i.e. ₹1,000/- for 10 months.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Girl Student should belong to V.J.N.T. or S.B.C category.
2. Girl Student should be studying in 8th to 10th Standard.
3. No income limit and there will be no limit of marks.
