Scheme Overview
The scheme aims to encourage and support farmers, institutions, and groups engaged in aromatic plant cultivation to establish post-harvest management and processing facilities.
Eligibility Criteria
The beneficiary must be a farmer, organization, or group belonging to Uttarakhand.
The farmer, organization, or group must be registered with the Centre for Aromatic Plants (CAP), Selaqui, Dehradun.
The cluster must have plants, machinery, and equipment as per the capacity and requirements of the aromatic cultivated area.

Benefits
Under this scheme, the following support is provided:
A grant of up to ₹10 lakh is available for setting up necessary machinery, equipment, distillation units, etc., for drying, storage, and processing of aromatic plants. The grant is provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) at the rate of 75% in hilly areas and 50% in plain areas.
Establishment of distillation (processing) facilities to serve other farmers within the cluster.
Development of entrepreneurship among farmers.
