Fresh Skilling Projects which may not be conducted through STT due to the rules & regulation drafted in STT may be considered for Special Project on case to case basis. Objectives of Special Projects to encourage training To encourage training in vulnerable and marginalised groups of society. To encourage trainings in special areas and premises like Government bodies, corporates / industry bodies

Any of the following criteria must be fulfilled for consideration as Special Projects: If the job roles are outside the purview of existing PMKVY job roles. If the TP is providing greater than or equal to 80% captive placement or 90% wage employment. Training programs conducted in varied institutional settings such as in jail, government institutions, etc. Proposals where training is executed via part-funding through PMKVY & remaining fund support from other organisation. The rest of the criteria depends on a case to case basis and is usually decided in a Screening & Executive committee

2 months post desk appraisal is the turnaround time for receiving targets post proposal submission if it passes through all the PMKVY special Projects committees.

Any Training Provider, Corporate, Government Institution, Association and NGO subject to Scheme guidelines and qualification factor under Special Projects.
