Scheme Overview
The objectives of the scheme are to boost up the area and production of all plantation crops like Arecanut, Cashewnut, Coconut, Pineapple etc., and to provide a 50 % subsidy for planting materials and construction of a soakage tank.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant/farmer should be a resident of Meghalaya.
The applicant should be a bonafide farmer engaged in Agriculture, possessing own or leased land of at least 0.2 (hectares) or more.
**Note:** The applicant farmer can avail of the benefits of the scheme on a first come first serve basis.

Financial assistance at a 50% subsidy for purchasing of planting materials, and polypipes.
Financial assistance at a 50% subsidy for the construction of soakage tank.
One-year assistance.
