The scheme “Pension Scheme to Old Age Persons Senior Citizen ” is implemented by the Social Welfare Department, UT of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu. The scheme aims to support senior citizens in meeting their basic needs during old age. It is specifically targeted at residents of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu who are 60 years and above, with an annual family income not exceeding ₹1.5 lakh per annum. Under this scheme, eligible individuals aged 60–69 years receive a monthly pension of ₹1,500/-, while those aged 70 years and above receive ₹2,000/- per month.
