The scheme “Old Age Pension Scheme” was started by the Department of Labour and Employment, Govt. of Arunachal Pradesh for registered workers of Arunachal Pradesh Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board APB&OCWWB . The government of Arunachal Pradesh has introduced the pension scheme through the board and the aim of the scheme is to secure the economic dependency of a worker after retirement or at an old age period.
Benefits
• 1. Cash assistance of ₹500/- per month, to the old age beneficiaries with an increase in ₹10/- on completion of every 5 years.
Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a permanent resident of Arunachal Pradesh.
2. The applicant must be employed in the Building and Other Construction works.
3. The applicant should be registered with Labour Welfare Board (APB&OCWWB).
4. The applicant with a membership for at least 1 year after the age of 60 years is eligible to apply under the scheme.
