The scheme “National Food Security Scheme Antyodaya Anna Yojana – Pink Ration Card ” is implemented by the Department of Food, Civil Supplies & Consumer Affairs, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to ensure food security for the poorest and most vulnerable families by providing them with subsidized food grains under the Antyodaya category in the state.

• Under the scheme, each Pink Ration Card holder receives 35 kg of food grains (13.30 kg of wheat at ₹2.00 per kg and 21.70 kg of rice at ₹3.00 per kg) along with 1 kg of sugar at ₹13.50 per kg.
• At present, from 1 January 2023, food grains are being distributed free of cost to all ration card holders in the state.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The beneficiary must be a resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The beneficiary must belong to the Antyodaya category of the state.
3. The following families/persons are eligible under the Antyodaya category:
4. - Families in which any member is eligible for a disability pension and the total monthly family income is less than ₹4,000/-.
5. - BPL families.
6. - Individuals infected with HIV.
