The scheme "National Family Benefit Scheme Maharashtra " is a social welfare scheme by the Social Justice & Special Assistance Department, Government of Maharashtra. Under this scheme, in the event of the death of the primary breadwinner of a BPL family, the family is provided with a one-time lump sum financial assistance of ₹20,000/-.
