Description
The scheme "Mukhyamantri Kanya Vivah Yojana" was introduced by the Social Welfare Department, Government of Bihar, and aims to provide a grant at the time of marriage to girls from BPL and other economically disadvantaged families, to offer financial assistance to their families during the marriage. Under the scheme, girls are encouraged to complete their education, and upon getting married at the appropriate age, they receive financial assistance from the government. Benefits
• Under the scheme, an amount of ₹5,000/- will be given at the time of marriage of the girl child.
