The Mukhyamantri Jan-Van Scheme aims to promote tree plantation on private lands in Jharkhand to enhance farmers' income, conserve the environment, and reduce pressure on notified forests. Farmers are encouraged to plant trees on their lands with incentives covering 75% of plantation and maintenance
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant should be a farmer.
The landowners with verifiable land records (minimum 0.5 acres, maximum 50 acres).
Individual or joint farmers are eligible for this scheme.

If the beneficiary plants the trees themselves, they'll receive the following amount
If the Forest Department supplies the plants, the beneficiary will be entitled to the following incentive amount under this scheme:
NOTE: 75% of the cost incurred, as per the approved plantation rate for this scheme, will be given to the beneficiary as an incentive.
