Description
The scheme “Medical Assistance/Wage Compensation during Illness” is implemented by the Haryana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board HBOCWWB , Labour Department, Government of Haryana. Under this scheme, wage compensation/financial assistance is provided to registered construction workers as per the prevailing minimum wages in the state in case of an accident or illness. This assistance applies if the registered worker is admitted to a government or government-approved private hospital for treatment for a period ranging from 4 to 30 days.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, wage compensation or financial assistance is provided to registered workers if they are admitted to any government or empanelled private hospital for treatment for a minimum of 4 days and a maximum of 30 days.

1. The applicant should be engaged in any building or construction work.
2. The applicant should be registered with the Haryana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
3. The registered worker must have a minimum of one year of regular membership.
4. The worker must have an active membership with the Board.
