The "Maternity Benefit Scheme" was launched by the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board, LET&F (Labour) Department, Telangana. The scheme provides financial assistance to registered women workers, as well as the wives & daughters of registered workers to support them.

Description
The "Marriage Gift Scheme" is a welfare initiative implemented by the Telangana Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board TB&OCWWB , LET&F Labour Department, Telangana. The scheme provides financial assistance to registered women workers, as well as the wives and daughters of registered workers, to support them during and after pregnancy.

Benefits
• A total amount of ₹30,000/- per delivery is provided, limited to two deliveries.
• ₹10,000/- is paid during the 7th month of pregnancy to compensate for wage loss during the later stages of pregnancy.
• ₹20,000/- is paid after the delivery.

Eligibility Criteria
1. > **For construction workers themselves (Women only)**
2. The construction worker should be registered under the Telangana Building & Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.
3. The construction worker should be a woman.
4. The construction worker should have been registered for at least 12 months before the date of delivery.
5. The construction work can get this assistance only twice.
