Overview
The Manabik Pension Scheme is a financial assistance program launched in 2018 to provide monthly pensions to individuals with disabilities in West Bengal.
Details
"Manabik" Scheme was launched by the Department of Women & Child Development and Social Welfare, Government of West Bengal. This scheme is designed to provide financial support to individuals who are unable to work due to a disability. The aim is to assist individuals in maintaining a reasonable standard of living despite their inability to engage in gainful employment.

• Sanctioned Pensioner will be supported by Rs ₹1,000/- per Month through DBT mode at Pensioners Bank Account.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Applicant must be a disable person with 50% of disability.
2. Applicant must be a resident of the state namely West Bengal for not less than 10 Years on the date of making application for Pension.
3. Family income of the beneficiary should not exceed ₹1,00,000/- (One thousand) per month.
4. The differently abled person should be declared unsuitable for physical work by the respective Medical officer.
