Under this scheme, one-time financial support is provided to meet medical treatment expenses that the beneficiary cannot afford.

5. The total family income should not exceed ₹20,000 per month.
6. The writer/artist's fully dependent spouse, fully dependent parents, dependent minor brothers and sisters, dependent minor children, dependent widowed daughter, and dependent differently-abled brothers and sisters are eligible to get assistance.
