Description
The scheme & 39;Khiladi Protsahan Chhatravriti Yojana& 39; was launched by the Department of Sports, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote sports among talented youth aged 14 to 23 years from Uttarakhand by providing scholarships and financial assistance for sports equipment.

Benefits
• Under this scheme, players/sportspersons aged 14 to 23 years are selected annually based on the P-SAT (Physical and Sports Aptitude Test).
• A total of 100 boys and 100 girls are selected per district, and they are provided a scholarship of ₹2,000/- per month along with ₹10,000/- once a year for sports equipment.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be a permanent resident of Uttarakhand.
2. The applicant must be a boy or girl between 14 and 23 years of age.
3. The boy or girl who obtain the highest marks based on merit in the final district-level competition, conducted through various stages of the Physical and Sports Aptitude Test (P-SAT) assessing physical abilities such as strength, flexibility, endurance, speed, and coordination, will be eligible for the sports scholarship.
4. Scholarships are awarded on a priority basis in the following sports: (1) Athletics, (2) Badminton, (3) Boxing, (4) Taekwondo, (5) Kabaddi, (6) Football, (7) Volleyball, (8) Basketball, (9) Hockey, (10) Table Tennis, (11) Karate, and (12) Judo.
