Description
The scheme "Kalakar Kritadnyata Nidhi" was launched by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Goa. The "Scholarships/Incentives" component of the scheme aims to provide financial support to the wards of recognized Goan artists who are pursuing higher education, thereby addressing the economic challenges faced by artist families in supporting their children's educational aspirations and ensuring continuity of educational opportunities despite financial constraints. Eligibility Criteria

2. - The artist must be a Goan, i.e., born and brought up in Goa.
3. - The artist must be recognized by the Directorate of Art & Culture, Government of Goa.
4. - The income of the family of the artist (from all sources) must not exceed ₹2,00,000/- per annum.
5. - The artist must not be less than 50 years in age. (The Government may relax the age criteria for deserving cases under special circumstances.)
