The “Kala Utsav Pratiyogita” scheme is implemented under the Samagra Shiksha Programme by the Secondary Education Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to promote and encourage artistic talent among school students of Classes 9 to 12. In 2023-24, the state-level competition was organized by the Haridwar district. Effective cooperation and coordination were ensured in organizing this competition from the district level to the state level.
Benefits
• A total of 20 students, who secured first place in 10 categories across boys’ and girls’ groups, participated in the National Level Kala Utsav Pratiyogita held at Bal Bhavan, New Delhi, representing the state.

1. The applicant must be a student of Classes 9 to 12.
2. The applicant must be studying in a school in Uttarakhand.
