Scheme Overview
Through this scheme, the children of industrial workers/employees, studying in classes 1st to 4th in recognized/approved schools are provided financial assistance for the purchase of textbooks/notebooks. The scheme aims to provide financial support for the educational needs of the children.
Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant should be a regular industrial worker/employee of the Goa Labour Welfare Board.
- The applicant should have at least 6 months of continuous service.
- The applicant should not be employed in supervisory or managerial roles earning ₹1,600/- and above per month.
- The applicant should have wages/salary not exceeding ₹20,000/-.
- The applicant should have children studying in classes 1st to 4th in recognized/approved schools.

- Preference will be given to the students studying in higher classes.
- Workers having not more than two children will be given priority.
