Description
The “Funeral Assistance Scheme” is implemented by the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board GBOCWWB , Labour, Skill Development & Employment Department, Government of Gujarat. The main objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to the heir of a deceased construction worker registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board in case of death during the ongoing membership.

Benefits
• Under the scheme, financial assistance of ₹10,000/- shall be given to the legal heirs of the deceased construction workers.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant should be a legal heir of the deceased worker.
2. The deceased worker should have been engaged in any building or other construction work.
3. The deceased worker should have been registered with the Gujarat Building and Other Construction Worker’s Welfare Board.
4. Financial assistance is provided to the legal heir of the deceased worker in the event of their death during the ongoing membership.
