Launched by the Department of Women, Child Development & Social Security, Government of Jharkhand, “Financial Assistance to Pensioners Suffering From HIV/AIDS” aims to provide a helping hand by way of monthly financial assistance to those who are suffering from Human Immunodeficiency Virus HIV /Acquired Immunodeficiency Syndrome AIDS to meet medical expenses. It is a Direct Benefit Transfer DBT scheme, so pension the amount will be directly transferred to the bank account of the beneficiary.

• Amount: ₹ 1,000/- per month to the eligible beneficiary.
Eligibility Criteria
1. - The applicant should be a permanent resident of Jharkhand.
2. - The applicant should be suffering from HIV/AIDS.
3. - The applicant should receive Antiretroviral Therapy (ART)/Antiretroviral Drugs (ARD) and its benefits from the District AIDS Control Society.
4. - The applicant should have a Voter ID card and Aadhar Card (For applicants aged 18 years and above)
5. - The applicant or their spouse should not be a beneficiary under any other Social Security pension scheme.
6. - The applicant or their spouse should not be retired or permanently employed in Central and State Government or in public sector undertakings.
7. - The applicant or their spouse should not be a recipient of any family pension or pension from Central and State Government or from public sector undertakings.
