The scheme aims to help the families of the fishermen affected due to captured by Pakistani Marine Security Agency. Under this scheme, daily assistance, repatriation allowances, and vessel reconstruction subsidies are provided.
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a resident of the Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli and Daman & Diu.
The applicant must be a boat owner or fisherman captured by the Pakistan Marine Security Agency (PMSA), or a family member thereof.

Benefits
> **Pattern of Assistance:**
Unskilled daily wages rate as notified time to time by the U. T. Administration to the families of the Fishermen those are held 1s time captive/detained by Pakistani Marine Security Agency (PMSA), having valid ID Cards and resident of U.T. of Dadra &amp; Nagar Haveli and Daman &amp; Diu.
**T.A./D.A. to the fishermen during the repatriations from Pakistani Jail:-**
Travelling Allowance (T.A.) is admissible at 2nd class Sleeper of Railways Fair.
Daily Allowance (D.A.) of ₹250/- per day per person is admissible during repatriation.
One time financial Assistance in the form of back ended subsidy to the registered boat owner of the U.T. of Dadra &amp; Nagar Haveli and Daman &amp; Diu to re-construct/ replace their fishing vessels by new fishing vessels @ 25% maximum up to ₹ 10.00 lakh, with waiting period of five years.
