Description
The “Financial Assistance for Construction of Toilet” scheme is implemented by the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board UKBOCWWB under the Labour Department, Government of Uttarakhand. The scheme aims to provide financial support to registered construction workers for building toilets. The financial assistance is disbursed in two installments.

Eligibility Criteria
1. The applicant must be a construction worker registered with the Uttarakhand Building and Other Construction Workers Welfare Board.

• A photograph showing the worker along with the toilet under construction (Photograph must clearly show the toilet with concrete walls, roof with lintel, tank, water arrangement, and seat)
• Land-related documents of the site where the toilet is constructed, such as Dakhal Kharij/Khatauni/Registry or land ownership certificate
• A permanent residence certificate
• An affidavit is required stating that the applicant has not availed benefits from any other scheme and has not applied for assistance from any other department.
